But they do strike me as interesting places, especially public libraries.  They feel as if you might discover something amazing if you just hang around long enough.&lt;br&gt;

I think cold water is generally unsafe! Plus rinsing with hot water has the added benefit of drying your dishes much faster, since it appears to evaporate quickly leaving your dishes almost bone-dry after a few seconds. They therefore won't have to be "contaminated" with dirty drying cloths and can be put away into the cupboard speedily. &lt;br&gt;

I agree with Mark, and cannot emphasize enough the importance of rinsing dishes after initial scrub in the bowl. The thing I'm confused about it whether rinsing in hot water is a waste of energy... Does cold water do the trick?&lt;br&gt;

Obviously a key point...must note..washing up bowl = menance&lt;br&gt;

Though I agree they are quite menacesome when you tip the water out the bowl towards you and do it quite quickly and end up damp or wet depending on the speed of the tip.&lt;br&gt;

You see, their problem is that they aren't using the washing up bowl properly.&lt;br&gt;
Since it holds less water, it means you change the water more regularly, thus making the whole process more hygenic, without using an excessive volume of water. It also has the added advantage that you can still drain things down the sink, and of course you can do the rinse into the sink (which ought to be done with very hot water) without changing the temperature of the water in the washing up bowl. Althought we got attacked by a mommy moorhen cos I accidently steered the punt into the tree with  her nest in. I wasnt very good...in fact I was pretty terrible..I blame it on the fact the pole for punting was at least twice as tall as me...and as such I had to lift off the punt deck each time I pulled it down and just hope I landed on safely again. The trauma of my steering was brief lived and ended in my knocking off of half a fingernail and bleeding everywhere...at which point the Oxford Student felt he should take over before I damaged someone else. Get a decent book and get reading or (even better) visit www.desiringgod.org and go to the Desiring God Radio Archives section and listen to the series which Piper's just finished entitled 'Olympic Spirituality'. Make sure you get your daily dose of Piper because God is most glorified in you when you are most satisfied in Him.</content></entry></feed>
